WishList Products’ (formerly WPWishlist) latest release of WishList Member (http://wishlistmember.com), the premier membership plug-in for WordPress is feature rich and extremely user friendly. With its easy to understand interface anyone can have a fully functioning membership site up and running with very little effort and no programming or html knowledge required. One of the reasons for its ease of use is that it was built from the ground up specifically for WordPress. And with its low entry cost of under $ 100 it makes it easily affordable for anyone.
WordPress has become one of the top content management system platforms for creating websites through a user friendly dashboard. There are a number of different membership systems available, of which most are very expensive, lacking in functions and complicated to use. WishList Products has overcome all these challenges plaguing other developers and end users by creating WishListMember specifically as a WordPress Membership plug-in.
Stu McLaren, Co-Founder of WishList Products has this to say, “The idea for WishList Member actually came from hours upon hours of frustration trying to create a membership site of my own. All the solutions I tried always ended up being too complicated and it always created a major delay in getting the site launched. That’s when I finally threw my hands up and decided to build our own solution. The major objective for WishList Member was to design it so that people (like me) could get their membership sites up quickly. Now, one of the most exciting things for me to see is all the different ways our customers are using the product and how quickly they are getting their sites online.”
With functions available for everyone’s “wish list” it seems that WishList Member is taking the lead as the number one WordPress plug-in for membership site building.
Some of the new advanced features include:
Login Redirection
Multiple Membership Levels
Import & Export Members
Sequential Delivery
Integration with Popular systems like PayPal, ClickBank, 1ShoppingCart, AWeber Email, and many more.
Popular features include Total Content Protection, Unlimited Membership Levels and Easy Member Management. To see demo videos and screen shots, go to http://wishlistmember.com
A few of the other features include:
Simple Installation With New or Existing WordPress Blogs
Seamless compatibility with most other WordPress Plug-ins and Themes
Flexible Membership Options
Control Viewed Content
Shopping Cart Integration
Multi-Level Access
Total Content Protection
Secure RSS Feeds
Subscription Length Control
”Sneak Peak” Content Display
Custom Error Pages
Partial Content Display
And much more.
WishList Member has a wide variety of additional features to expand the way people will use WordPress to build and grow their membership site. WishList Products is continually adding user-friendly functionality based on suggestions from its customers.
Tracy Childers, Co-Founder of WishList Products has this to say, “With the economic conditions what they are today we wanted to help the person wanting to build a membership site without having to make a large investment of $ 1,000 to $ 4,000. We give our users the functions those high priced, complicated systems have but at a price that would make Ebenezer Scrooge smile.” He further stated, “We also understand time is a commodity to our customers. That is why our support staff is quick to respond to any issue our customers may have.”
One of the best features of WishList Member (http://wishlistmember.com) is its extensive video tutorials making it even easier to get up and running quickly and without a lot of problems often encountered by similar products. There is a set of installation tutorial videos as well as a separate video tutorial for each function.
Other membership software and plug-ins are either too technical or they don’t provide the flexibility or features needed to make sophisticated sites uncomplicated to build.
WishList Member is very unique in that users don’t need to “switch” to a whole new system. The entire membership site can be run within WordPress.
WishList Member comes with a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
Tracy Childers or Stu McLaren is available for media interviews worldwide.

What is the most reliable web hosting company?
Posted by: | Commentshosting wordpress Question: What is the most reliable web hosting company?
I’m currently using anhosting/midphase to host my WordPress blog and they have been having a lot of server problems in the past few weeks. Last week their service was down a few hours almost everyday. I’m getting sick of their service problem. Anyone know a reliable host service with a lot of space and bandwidth. Price is not an issue, I just need one that is very reliable. Is Bluehost or Dreamhost reliable?

Where Should You Host Your Blog -Dominate Article Marketing
Should you host your blog yourself or pay someone to host it? It doesn’t matter if you’re a newbie or a veteran this question always comes up when creating a new blog. Usually someone new to blogging would gravitate to hosting a blog themselves or get a free blog and as time goes by with experience they begin to ponder maybe paid blog hosting isn’t so bad after all. So what is better?
Top Article Submission Viral Earned Me 2.3 Million in 3 Months http://www.TopArticleSubmission.com/
To answer this question, let’s first look at how a blog is created. Just like creating web pages, first, you need a software or script that will take your entries, format it and publish it to the web. The second component of a blog, is the web space, where the software should publish to, a home for the blog pages.
Knowing this information, let’s review the different ways to host a blog:
Full blog host.
This is where the blogging system or software is provided for you and your blog is also published to a web space provided by the host. Blogger, SquareSpace and Typepad fall into this category. It’s very much like creating a website with a site builder.
Hosted blog software but published elsewhere
This is where the blog software is provided for you but the blog pages are published to another website or web host altogether. By doing this, the software acts as a publishing system like FrontPage except it creates nicely formatted blogs. Blogger is probably the most well known for this. Yes Blogger can do both. Publish to their host or to yours. As a comparison, this is like using FrontPage to publish your website.
Blog software and blog are hosted on your web server
This is where you would install the blog script (software) on your web server – it can be any web hosting account. And when you publish, the blog itself resides on your web server also. To draw a parallel, this technique is like buying web hosting and then installing a content management system on it to help you build web pages.

If you’re new to building web pages or have built sites using site builders then you might want to go with a fully hosted blog. These hosts do all the nitty gritty for you and there’s very little technical stuff you need to know. If you can point and click, you can build a blog with a full blog host.
Having said that, just because you’re seasoned at building web pages doesn’t mean full blog hosts won’t work for you. In fact, if you have many blogs this becomes very appealing since you won’t have to worry about upgrading the blog script, people exploiting the script, making plug-ins work or what happens when your web host decides to disable part of your blog functions because there is a security hole. All you do is concentrate on blogging. After a while, blogging becomes more important than maintaining your blog and that’s the way it should be.

What are the differences between GoDaddy’s WordPress hosting and Basic Hosting Plans?
Posted by: | Commentshosting wordpress Question: What are the differences between GoDaddy’s WordPress hosting and Basic Hosting Plans?
GoDaddy offers a specific WordPress hosting plan for a website and a basic hosting plan however, the basic plan offers an install of WordPress as an option. They both cost the same amount. I don’t want to put myself in the situation where I can’t switch back from WordPress if I don’t want to run a blog, but want to keep the hosting. Can someone explain the differences between the two plans?

I buy all my domains from godaddy but so far I have not heard one good thing about their hosting. Most host offer a painless wordpress install through Fantastico: you basically click on a button and the install is done but if you do a Google search, doing it that way it has security flaws.
If you have to change plan I don’t think it would be an issue, a host is a host after all.
Self Hosted wordpress: The good and the bad
WordPress was born in 2003 and from that time www.wordpress.com hosts more than 10 millions blogs on its own site. That’s not all by any means. This open-source project also allows the other users to access the latest version of WordPress. These users can then download this version and add their own modifications to it. They can then host it on their own domain and use to it to administer their CMS or blog. The result? More than 200 million websites are using WordPress to manage their content in a variety of different ways besides blogging. Since these figures differ so much from each other, it becomes important to analyze the WordPress platform and the benefits and drawbacks in case you are thinking of using a self hosted WordPress.
Benefits
When you first login to your wordpress account, it will become clear that all you can really do in wordpress is basic blogging. This is to prevent people from using wordpress to inject all kinds of malicious codes that can cause problems for other users. Nevertheless, due to this, you cannot make the most of all kinds of customization features of WordPress. Besides, you will also have to comply with their policy and Agreement terms in order to post any kind of content. If you use WordPress on your own site, then you are only restricted by the rules that are made by the hosting provider of your site.
All these drawbacks vanish the moment you use WordPress files by downloading them and then uploading them on a PHP supporting website host. On your first launch of the CMS that you have newly installed, you may notice a similar interface. However, on further exploration on the settings and options, you will understand that these options can be completely governed by you as you can administer your own blog as you are the sole site administrator.
In other words, if you find the default theme of WordPress too generic for your taste, then you can customize your blog as per your preferences. Though there are some good templates that you can choose form WordPress.com, but your options become almost limitless when you switch to self hosted WordPress website as you can even download a recently made theme, upload it and use if immediately. With time and as you explore more, you can even develop and create your own themes.
Besides the basic blogging function, you can even add new plugins to add new features. The open-source WordPress platform can be reengineered so that it can be integrated in a better way with your other website features.
Drawbacks
Though WordPress does not cost money, the PHP supporting hosting providers are generally paid. You may get a hosting provider that comes free and can support WordPress; however you will still need to buy a domain name in order to market your blog. Those users who are registered with wordpress.com would need to create a sub domain that can be easily remembered. Moreover, WordPress blogs that are hosted in shared hosting servers also need some high maintenance.
Finally
It’s clear that the benefits are more than the drawbacks, which means that a self-hosted website is a good investment for blogs that are expansive and larger. However, if you just want a personal blog or are a first time user, then you can simply register at the WordPress website.
