wordpress template Question: I want to keep private a wordpress.org site page for buyers to download product from to retain template there?
I have a wordpress.org 2.7 website at which I want to sell products through Clickbank. As the sale is completed I want the client to be sent to a download Page on that site. How can I keep that page secret from SE spiders and also stop it being pinged as it’s uploaded (and anyone else)? Or do I need to go to a password protected page (which might be against Clickbank rules) – if so, how do I do that?
Best Response:
Answer by Reviewhost You have to have your own website in order to control which page is secret to public.
For example: your download page look like that: www.yourdomain.com
you need to upload your download webpage file to this domain, and also you need to upload a robot.txt file, inside this text file you put ” User-agent: *
Disallow: / ”
No search engine will show your page to public.

WordPress Customize Your Site To Be Unique In Your Market
How does WordPress customize your site? There are more than 32 million WordPress sites on the internet and they are very different from one another. WordPress is one of the favourite blogging platforms because it is flexible, usable and effective. You can use it for specific purposes, such as business, or personally, and you will always find a theme that matches your objectives.
WordPress customize can be difficult if you aren’t familiar with it. WordPress uses The Loop, a php function that displays what the visitor wants to see on the screen. The good news is you don’t need any php knowledge. The html can be changed without changing the php coding.
Another good thing for WordPress customize is that it uses different files for different sections in the site. There is the header, the blog post, the sidebar and the footer. They form a pattern that can vary from one model to another, but that is basically present in each page.
For this reason, any change in any part, except the post, will appear in all the pages of your site. It means you have to invest less effort as you customize just the model pattern.
In order to add content to your sidebar, with the php code you will generate links to your categories and archive pages. You can add any html, but don’t place it inside the code. Editing is quite simple as long as you make sure that the html coding that you add does not interfere with anything else.
WordPress themes include a CSS file, which controls the aspect of the whole theme. You can normally find different categories such as typography, colors, structrure, headers, images, lists, comments, sidebar, calendar, etc. When you customize a theme you normally leave some of the structure in place and add some new.
The key to WordPress customize is to go step by step into the different parts. Work on one part at a time with the suitable file and de CSS. Once all the parts have been customized, header, sidebar, post area and footer, you WordPress theme will have a new look.
WordPress customize may need some patience, but when you get a unique design of your site it is very rewarding. But prior to this whole amount of work it is advisable to know very well your targeted audience, age, gender, interests, industry and so on, and what your business goals are to determine how you can achieve them best.
WordPress customize is a good way to have a unique theme that matches perfectly your brand and covers all your objectives. Having a professionally designed site is more usable by the visitor and more effective as you can get more visitors, make them more loyal and turn them into buyers of your products.

wordpress plugins Question: WordPress automatic twitter posting?
I’ve read that Twitter have made some changes and that plugins for wordpress cannot automatically tweet your new blog posts there
Are there any ways or new plugins that can still do this? Using WordPress 3.0.1 if that helps.

Answer by Dave WordTwit is a perfect solution for what you’re looking for. It works with the new Twitter authentication process and is also very easy to use.
Iâve noticed a lot of people are interested to install lots of plugins but really donât make it profitable on their blog. You can have over 50 plugins that all work and make noise, but none of them are any good to make your blog stand out. (Additionally, my term of profitable also refers to helping you market your blog and also creating a brand). Since most plugins are free, itâs very easy to find them on the Internet and install them with WordPress 2.71. Furthermore Iâve provided a link to the download page for each plugin. Hope this list will help others and itâs in alphabetical order, enjoy!
Add Post Footer
The Add Post Footer is very useful in helping you cross sell products, a free eBook to encourage readers to subscribe or other top articles that are related to your post. It allows you to enter HTML code into the footer of every post you write and is very simple to use.
All in One SEO Pack
As you can see from the name of the plugin – itâs an all in one SEO pack that assists each post in your blog to be âsearch engine optimisedâ. You can either leave your header, meta tags and description of your post just the way they are when you publish, or you can fine tune them to be more specific to keywords you want to use for search engines. Iâve found at times I wanted to add additional keywords and change the description of my post instead of having the default WordPress summarised description. A must have plug-in for serious Internet marketers!
Bird Feeder
If youâre on Twitter and want to save time twitting – the Bird Feeder plugin will automatically feed your most recent posts in the format of: [your message] [post title] [short url] to Twitter. Itâs great because you wonât have to double up by copying and pasting your posts back into Twitter or be on Twitter 24/7 (if youâre not already).
FeedBurner FeedSmith
This little gem, the FeedBurner FeedSmith takes your blogâs feed and redirects it to Feedburner. Itâs better branding for your site and you wonât have FeedBurnerâs domain name showing when a reader clicks on your RSS feed button, e.g. feeds2.feedburner.com/internetbusinesspath become internetbusinesspath.com/feed. For more detailed instructions.
Google XML Sitemaps
If you want to be found on Google, then Google XML Sitemaps plugin is a requirement for your blog. This plugin creates a compliant XML sitemap for the Google bots to crawl your site and it will help your blog achieve higher rankings if you want to be found on their search engine. Once youâve install this plugin donât forget to hop onto Google Webmaster Tools to let them know youâve got a sitemap for them to crawl, otherwise Google wonât know.
Max Banner Ads
Monetising and profiting from your blog couldnât be any easier. If you have advertisers and want a very streamline and easy way to insert their ads onto your blog, then Max Banner Ads is the plugin for you. I use this on my blog and itâs saved me a lot of time. Itâs easy to use and can be very profitable for your blog.
RSS Feed Signature
The RSS Feed Signature is another great plugin to use within your RSS Feeds. It simply adds a customised signature to any RSS Feed that goes out to your subscribers. If you are keen on increasing your subscribers, I would suggest installing this plugin and add a âfree eBook offerâ to your RSS signature. If you subscribe to my RSS Feed youâll see the link at the bottom of each feed to take you to the free eBook offer. You can read more about how to download your free eBook from the RSS feed.
Top Commentators Widget
This plugin allows your blog to display a user who has posted the most comments. The Top Commentators Widget shows other readers your highest commentator and will encourage people to find out who they are by clicking on their name. Also the highest commentators websites will be linked automatically onto your blog and can increase your search engine rankings as well. Therefore getting you more traffic and more comments all at the same time.
What Would Seth Godin Do
Most people would know Seth Godin as his name is associated with Internet Marketing Guru. The What Would Seth Godin Do plugin simply displays a welcome message on your blog for first time and returning users. It may ask them to subscribe if theyâre a first time user or thank them for coming. Itâs a great tool to have to create the âexperienceâ for a user coming to your blog.
WordPress Simple Paypal Shopping cart
If youâre like me who offers advertising on my blog and needs a simple way for advertisers to pay you, then the WordPress Simple Paypal Shopping cart is an easy plugin to install and use. It allows anyone to pay you using Paypal which is used by millions of people worldwide and can save you time having to respond to advertiserâs email with your bank account details and so forth. The plugin has functions to let you add a âAdd to cartâ button and creates a shopping cart module when the advertiser or user decides to pay you. It will then redirect them to the Paypal website to pay. Very simple to use!
If you havenât tried any of the plugins above I would highly recommend adding them to your blog. So give it a go!
