My problem is that I cannot get into the dashboard or the site of my website, i am geting this code if i try to look at it or log into it via wp admin.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘< ' in /home/content/00/5722600/html/wp-content/themes/intense_gamer_boy_tee015/functions.php on line 2127
i've edited out the bad and replaced the functions folder but it still isn't leting me go into my site at all to the dashboard or anything. I have firezilla but what can I do to change the theme so i can acsess my wp admin dashboard again?

log into your database (via phpmy admin) and run this query
SELECT *
FROM wp_options
WHERE option_name = ‘template’
OR option_name = ‘stylesheet’
OR option_name = ‘current_theme’;
then update the values with ‘default’ for the default template (or if you have another theme on the server enter that name)

I’m trying to upload a customized WordPress theme and I keep getting this error when I try to activate the theme:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/content/t/r/e/tremak/html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/brown_theme/index.php on line 4

Also: I’m using the book, “WordPress 2.7 Complete” by April Hodge Silver to help me with this. I got to up to page 134 and ran into this problem.

Try that. It ran off on mine and did the usual Yahoo Answers … deal and caused the Doctype to run into the head and style tags. Neither of my programs (WeBuilder 2010, DreamWeaver CS4, or WeBuilder 2008) gave me a syntax error on it. I <3 WP too!

Might be Permission Error. Set the File to 755 and not 777
I would have to see the Whole Thing.
Also might be Corrupted, The file got truncated.

I need somebody help me to solve my problem. I have install wp theme News CMS in my offline server in my computer but when i want to see the template display i found text error like this,
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $ end in C:\xampp\htdocs\rental\wp-content\themes\news-cms\index.php on line 154 ( 154 is the last line not script more ).
i need help from every one to solve my problem

look on line 154 for $ end
according to the error it threw, this should not be there.
